SESSION 5: Advancing eduroam in Nigeria: Securing Wi-Fi Mobility

This session will explore how the eduID.ng digital identity platform can streamline the deployment and management of eduroam™ networks, offering users secure, seamless Wi-Fi access across multiple institutions.  

Through its integration with the global eduGAIN interfederation, eduID.ng facilitates federated authentication, ensuring secure mobility for students, staff, and researchers while simplifying cross-institutional access.

OBJECTIVES: Defining a roadmap and steps required for eduID.ng uptake. Review the legal agreements to be signed.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES: Signed eduID.ng agreements from participants for follow-up for eduID.ng implementation.
