Mr. Chinedu Otuya

Chinedu C. Otuya is a Chief ICT Officer at the Directorate of Special Projects, National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, where he also oversees activities of the Nigerian Research and Education Network (NgREN) Division. With over a decade of experience in computing, Mr. Otuya serves in the professional capacity of advancing higher education administration and driving digital transformation in the Nigerian university system.

His efforts are centered on leveraging technology to enhance learning, research, and collaboration across universities in Nigeria. During his tenure at NgREN, the Project has expanded its services to include innovative solutions such as eduroam and eduid, fostering seamless connectivity and secure access across the academic community.

Chinedu is passionate about fostering sustainable digital infrastructure to propel innovation in education and research.
