Dr. Abiola Omotosho

Dr. Omotoso is the Deputy University Librarian, saddled with the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day activities of the University Library, especially in the Management of the Library staff and services generally. She is also responsible for planning, monitoring, supervising, as well as teaching, as the case may be.

Omotoso holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from the Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State, in 2004, and later proceeded to the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Philosophy in 2006, Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) in 2010 and topped it with a doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Library and Information Science with a specialisation in Knowledge Management in 2020.

Dr. Omotoso is a chartered Librarian and Knowledge Management Specialist with scholarly publications in high-impact journals, books, and conference proceedings. She is currently a member of Nigeria Library Association (NLA), Ogun State Chapter and Nigeria Library Society (NLS).

Presently, Dr. Omotoso is the Acting University Librarian of McPherson University since 2022 where she has been discharging her duties with exemplary diligence, excellence, and commitment.
